In the summer of 2011, the Flemish Government started building the ‘Noord-Zuid Kempen’ mobility project. The construction of two major roundabouts and a flyover near the highway exit of Geel-West and a new connection to Geel is intended to enhance safety and mobility in the region. Before, during and after construction, the governmental Roads and Traffic Agency called on RCA Public. The task was twofold and included writing a communication strategy, a communication plan and its subsequent implementation.
The success of an infrastructural project of this magnitude heavily depends on the support from the various target groups (residents, stakeholders…)
